Stars 4 Life has been put together for people who have been touched by cancer. Our child was diagnosed with cancer in 2002 and has endured a long three years of treatment, He is presently doing quite well , he has gone six months of treatment and hopefully will continue to do so.
The experiences and heartaches , plus the isolating world of which we have lived during our child’s battle, has inspired us to dedicate our time to raise the much needed vital funds for cancer research, and to raise more awareness into childhood cancer, Cancer Research has given our little boy his life back, as we know only to well if not for cancer research and how far they have progressed over the years, we would not have our child today! also to friends that have sadly lost their battle with cancer would not have had that extra time to spend with their loved ones.
Cancer Research UK is the worlds leading organization dedicated to cancer research, and research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 3,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Therefore helping as much as we can to contribute to this worth while cause is vital, enabling cancer research to continue and progress with survival rates, and quality of life for those effected by cancer, preventing cancer, and earlier diagnosis of cancer, and most importantly drug development and new treatments.
